Doctrinal Beliefs

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the perfect inspired word of God that is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16). We believe all things that are written therein (Acts 24:14). We believe it is the absolute truth (Daniel 10:21, John 17:17). We believe God's promise to preserve his word (Psalm 12:6-7) and that we have his preserved word today in the King James Bible. We believe the Holy Scriptures, that is the King James Bible, is the final authority for all matters concerning the faith.

God

We believe God is the Creator of heaven and earth (Genesis 1:1). We believe that the Father, Word, and Holy Ghost are one (1 John 5:7). We believe God was manifest in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16, Isaiah 9:6-7) and died on the cross and shed his blood to take away the sins of the world (Acts 20:28, John 1:29) and was resurrected on the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) and ascended up into heaven (Acts 1:9). We believe Jesus Christ is God (John 1:1, 1:14) and he will come back shortly and execute the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God (Zechariah 14, Revelation 19) and restore again the kingdom to Israel (Acts 1:6).

Sin

We believe that through Adam's disobedience all were made sinners (Romans 5:12-21). All of us as the consequence of the fall were made in Adam's image instead of God's image (Genesis 5:1-3). We believe all have sinned and are by nature a child of wrath and children of disobedience (Romans 3:10-23, Ephesians 2:2-3). and are in need of salvation and regeneration to escape the wrath of God.

Hell

We believe hell exists and is in the heart of the earth (Isaiah 14:9, Ezekiel 26:20). There is literal unquenchable fire there and you are tormented in the flames of hell for ever (Matthew 18:9, Mark 9:43-44, Luke 16:23). The lake of fire is where the wicked sinners and ungodly men, along with the devil and his angels, will spend all eternity tormented without rest (Revelation 14:10-11, 20:11-15).

Salvation

We believe salvation is a free gift from God (Romans 6:23) and that it is by grace through faith, not of works (Ephesians 2:8-9). We believe someone is saved when they believe on the Lord Jesus Christ of the Scriptures (Acts 16:30-31, John 17:20). When they believe the Gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) they are sealed with the Holy Spirit of God (Ephesians 1:12-14) until the day of redemption - when Christ changes their vile body liken unto his glorious body (Philippians 3:21). We do not believe works, baptism, church attendance, being a good person, sacraments, keeping the commandments, or religion will save anyone. We believe in the doctrine of eternal security: once saved always saved.

Heaven

We believe heaven is a literally place beyond the universe where God resides (2 Corinthians 12:1-2). We believe at the moment of death the born again be liever immediately enters the presence of the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:1-9). His body returns to dust and his soul and spirit ascend into heaven. At the day of Christ (the rapture) the church of God will receive their new glorified bodies perfectly conformed to the image of Christ.

The Judgment Seat of Christ

We believe all Christians shall appear before the judgment seat of Christ to be judged according to their works done in the body after they were saved (Romans 14:10-13, 1 Corinthians 3:11-15, 2 Corinthians 5:9-11). The quality of their works will be what is judged, not the quantity. The Lord will see of what sort the work was: if it was done with the right heart motive.

The Second Coming of Christ

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ will return literally and visibly to this earth in power and great glory to establish the kingdom of heaven. We believe he will land upon the mount of Olives and save Jacob from their time of trouble and in the process will slay millions and millions of those that come against him and his chosen people Israel, and execute his wrath upon them that know not God and that obeyed not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Thessalonians 1:7-9). We believe he will rule and reign with a rod of Iron for 1,000 years (Psalm 110, Psalm 2, Revelation 20).

The Jew, Gentile, and the Church of God

We believe there is a difference between the Jew, Gentile, and the Church of God (1 Corinthians 10:32). We do not believe the church replaced Israel, or is new Israel, or inherited Israel's earthly promises and blessings. The church is made partakers of the Jews spiritual things only, the kingdom of God (Romans 15:27, Matthew 21:33-44).
